Scott Brown grew up in Oakdale, MN. At a very young age Sports and Competition became a passion. Graduated from Tartan High School in 1992 playing Football, Hockey, and Baseball. From there he was led to the United States Marine Corps where he served in the Reserves. There he gained the discipline to get back out on the field and put his work in to becoming not only one of the Best Slowpitch Softball players in the state of Minnesota but also Nationally. He still has the record for highest OBA in a Conference Season at .827. He has won 18 World Tournaments with multiple individual awards as well. He played on Team USA in 2010. Softball opened up many doors to him where one door opened to become part of the Combat Sports in 2005 with the startup company. Through 11 years of being the North American Sales Manager he learned the ins and the outs of the industry and now brings that knowledge to PHD Sports as a Partner and who’s duties primarily focuses on Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships. Scott is in the Minnesota USSSA Hall of Fame along with his father. His wife Erin will be inducted this year. Scott was also elected to go into the USSSA National Hall of Fame as well.
Herb Gibson when to Hopkins Lindbergh High School and graduated from the Minnesota School of Business. He has coached baseball at every level from T-Ball to College over the last 25 years. Bethel University Past Assistant Coach and Head JV Coach (3 Years), Mahtomedi Youth Baseball Past President (11 Years), Minnesota Twins Youth Training Instructor (3 Years). Served on various baseball boards throughout the Metro Area. Herb has dedicated himself to see the youth and young adults not only excel at the game of baseball but in all areas of there lives.
Mike Myers grew up in Brooklyn Center went Robinsdale HighSchool. Participated in a multitude of sports in school. After high school went to Dunwoody to pursue a trade in sheet metal. Worked in the trade for 20 years then moved into position purchasing/ownership of business. Has been a very active part of his community being involved in coaching baseball, football also being a Cub Scout and Boy Scout Leader. Sitting on the Planning Commission Panel for 9 years. He has started 3 other businesses in the past 10 with great success. Sales and marketing has been a very big part in his business successes. Been involved with PHD Baseball for the past 3 years with great results
John Economy grew up in Oakdale, MN. From when i was a young child, sports has always been my passion. I love to compete and try to be better then the other person or team on that given day. I graduated from North St. Paul High School in 2012. In high school i played baseball and basketball. I went on to play baseball at Century College for a year until i gave up the game. I then transferred to Minnesota State University. After a two year stint at Mankato, i moved back home where i am finishing up my sales and marketing degree at Rasmussen College. I have worked in customer service, retail and i have worked as a leasing agent for apartments. All i have been successful at because of hard work, discipline and the competitive drive that pushes me to be the best at what i am currently doing. I am now working as the Head of PHD Operations.
